Jonas Vingegaard won his first Vuelta a España, 1 minute 16 seconds ahead of João Almeida, with Tom Pidcock third. Mads Pedersen dominated the points classification, Jay Vine took the mountains title for a second year running, and Matthew Riccitello claimed the white jersey while finishing fifth overall. The race was overshadowed by pro-Palestinian protests that disrupted several stages and forced the cancellation of the finish in Madrid.
